About

My only child Alonzo Thomas IV was shot and killed on April 5, 2014 and no arrests have been made. Therefore I have become a Momma On a Mission, I am devoted to maintain Alonzo’s legacy, his memory and to bring awareness to his unsolved homicide.

My initial goal was to seek justice just for Alonzo, I shortly realized that there were other families like me but for different reasons, they were unable to pursue justice for their loved one. I decided to help these families as I understood their struggles. I am willing to be their voice and stand with them as I have walked in their shoes.

Momma On a Mission, Inc. was organized to help families by providing emotional and community support while seeking legal justice. I am determined to seek justice for Alonzo, and while I’m at it, I am just as determined to fight for you and your loved one.

We were established in 2014 and over the years we have grown, developed programs, and partnered with others so that we may be able to continue to serve the surviving families of homicide victims.
